SHIMANO CS-LG400-9 cassette LinkGlide 9-speed

The Shimano CS-LG400-9 cassette guarantees a long-term soft pedaling feel and smooth gear changes in both directions. The LinkGlide technology helps the 9-speed sprocket unit not only to achieve resistance-free and reliable shifting, but also significantly increases wear resistance. This results in a longer service life and up to three times the durability compared to the HyperGlide+ system under the high chain tension typical of E-Bikes.

LinkGlide technology enables smoother pedaling and gear changes that are barely noticeable during riding. The drivetrain is exceptionally durable, designed to withstand daily wear and tear, and delivers long-lasting, consistent shifting and pedaling performance. This makes it especially suitable for multi-purpose bicycles and high-torque E-Bikes.
The optimized design of the LinkGlide shift aids allows smoother transitions between sprockets, preventing jumps that can negatively affect shifting and pedaling smoothness. The redesigned LinkGlide sprockets feature a much stronger base and a unique chamfer that dramatically improves wear resistance in high-torque applications.
